Based on a mullite aggregate and a mullite / alumina, aluminum resistant matrix, Plicast Al-Tuff 3100 Special KK was the first successful low cement, non-wetting castable to be widely applied in aluminum furnaces of all types and all segments … from secondary to die cast. In addition to excellent physical attributes, this high strength material possesses the same versatile flow characteristics typical of Plibrico’s low cement castable offerings. Plicast Al-Tuff 3100 Special KK product characteristics include:
